What are dermal fillers? How are they used?

Dermal fillers are a type of nonsurgical cosmetic procedure.
The type of dermal filler we use is Hyaluronic acid(HA).
Dermal fillers are injected directly under your skin to plump up wrinkles and creases.
It can also be used to restore volume in your face or augmentation to enhance facial features or gain a more youthful appearance.

Results can be seen right after the injection and lasts for about 3 to 6 months
depending on the type of filler and location.

Recovering time is minimal compared to surgical procedures, yet brusing and redness should be expexted do the nature of injection using needles.

What is masseter botulinum toxin used for ?

〇managing teeth grinding(bruxism)

We use Botulinum Toxin Type A Nabota for treating the masseter and chin.
It is made in Korea, approved by FDA. It contains onabotulinumtoxin A just like the famous American product Botox.

The treatment uses botulinum toxin to temporarily block nerve signals in the masseter.
The masseter will relax and eventually reduce severe bruxism(teeth grinding)
causing jaw disorders, headaches, damaged teeth and other problems.

The average fee for masseter injection is 22000yen to 55000yen depending on the thickness
of your masseter and the severity of your symptoms.
It is advised to start with a smaller dose and add if needed.
Assessment is neccesary prior to injection.
